Recompression Chamber Awareness

Philosophy

The purpose of the Recompression Chamber Awareness Distinctive Specialty is to provide a safe and well supervised introduction to a hyperbaric or recompression chamber facility.

It is designed to familiarize divers to the facilities available, the procedures, knowledge, problems and hazards associated with a recompression chamber and the possible treatment therein.

The goals of Recompression Chamber Awareness training are:

  • To introduce the diver to the recompression chamber,
  • To enable the diver to safely take part in a recompression chamber dive to a maximum of 40 meters.
You can do this Specialty Instructor Course on locations in Slovenia, Germany, Switzerland and Maldives, where we have access to a recompression chamber.
